The film, starring Inde Navarrette as Nikki, Michael Johnston as Bear, Cooper Tomlinson as Ian, and Megan Lawless as Sarah, tells a "be careful what you wish for" story centered around the "One Wish Willow."
Barker stated he has a "cool idea" for *Obsession 2* but does not want to rush it, clarifying that while it might not be five or six years away, he intends to take his time. He also mentioned to Total Film and Happy, Sad, Confused that he has considered an *Obsession* anthology series, where each episode would follow a new character's wish and its consequences, offering numerous storytelling possibilities beyond a direct sequel.
