Future Announces New Album 'The Real Me'
Recording artist Future has officially announced his new album, "The Real Me," marking his first solo project since 2024. The announcement was made on social media on Monday, June 15, 2026, and featured a distinctive red and black graphic that is now his Instagram profile picture and appearing in Spotify billboard advertisements. This news follows a period of notable collaborations and the success of his two 2024 albums with Metro Boomin, both of which topped the Billboard 200.
Future has announced an upcoming album titled "The Real Me." The artist shared the news on social media on Monday, June 15, 2026, by updating his Instagram profile picture to a graphic featuring a red background with "Future The Real Me" in black ink. Spotify advertisements promoting the project, displaying the same logo, have also been observed on billboards. Future personally confirmed the album title on X, stating, "Album title: THE REAL ME."
"The Real Me" will be Future's first album following his 2024 releases, "We Don’t Trust You" and "We Still Don’t Trust You." Both of these previous albums were collaborations with producer Metro Boomin and successfully debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart.
In recent months, Future has engaged in several collaborative projects. He reunited with Drake for the track "Ran to Atlanta," featured on ICEMAN, which achieved No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, Future collaborated with Tyla on "Game Time," an anthem for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The duo performed "Game Time" live at SoFi Stadium during the USA Opening Ceremony for the World Cup in Inglewood, California, an event that also included performances from artists such as Katy Perry, LISA, Anitta, Rema, Dan + Shay, and Purahei Soul. In April, Future also contributed to DJ Khaled’s track "One of Them," alongside Lil Baby. That song debuted at No. 70 on the Billboard Hot 100 and is slated for Khaled's forthcoming "Aalam of God" album.
