President Trump Called for Russia-Ukraine Peace Deal at G7 Summit

“Russia should make a deal. Russia’s lost tremendous amounts of people, and so has Ukraine,” President Trump said at the summit. He emphasized the heavy human cost borne by both nations.
The remarks were delivered while President Trump was alongside Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani.
According to The Hill, President Trump was referring to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
