Shane Tarleton Named Co-Head of Nashville's Leo33 Label
Industry veteran Shane Tarleton has been appointed co-head of Leo33, a Nashville-based record label. He will lead the company alongside fellow co-head Katie Dean, who helped establish the label in 2023. Leo33 is home to artists such as rising country star Zach Top, among others. Tarleton brings extensive experience in artist development and marketing leadership to his new role.

Tarleton expressed his commitment to artist development and building effective teams to help music succeed. He highlighted Leo33's innovative approach to the music business, emphasizing creativity, culture, and strong partnerships with artists and managers.
Prior to joining Leo33, Tarleton spent over a decade at Warner Music Nashville (WMN) as executive vice president of artist development. In this role, he oversaw marketing, creative services, touring, brand partnerships, digital strategy, analytics, and video initiatives. In 2024, he moved to Morris Highman Management, serving as head of marketing for artists including Kenny Chesney and Old Dominion.
Katie Dean noted Tarleton's exceptional background in artist development, marketing leadership, and industry experience. She stated that his strategic perspective and proven track record make him an ideal partner for Leo33's continued growth and roster expansion. Dean joined Leo33 after 18 years at UMG Nashville, where her most recent position was senior vice president of promotion.
Leo33 is supported by Firebird Music and Red Light Ventures. Its roster includes Zach Top, who was recognized as New Artist of the Year at the 2025 CMA Awards. Other artists signed to the label are Trey Pendley, Ashland Craft, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Clay Street Unit, Jenna Paulette, and Sela Campbell.
According to Billboard, Tarleton's appointment is effective immediately.
