T-Mobile Offers Apple iPhone 17 Pro for Free with New Activations or Trade-Ins

T-Mobile is offering the Apple iPhone 17 Pro for free through a new promotional deal. This offer is available to customers who activate a new line on specific unlimited plans.

New customers can claim the iPhone 17 Pro without a trade-in when switching to an "Experience More" or "Experience Beyond" unlimited plan. Existing T-Mobile customers are eligible for the same deal by trading in a qualifying handset, such as an iPhone 15 Pro, and being on one of the designated unlimited plans.

The promotion's structure involves the full retail price of the iPhone 17 Pro being financed over 24 consecutive monthly statements. T-Mobile then applies a promotional credit each month to offset the cost, effectively making the device free over the two-year period. However, if a customer decides to switch carriers or upgrade their phone before the 24-month cycle is complete, these monthly credits will cease, and the customer will be responsible for the remaining balance on the device.

While the iPhone 17 Pro has been available for approximately nine months, it is noted that the launch of the iPhone 18 is anticipated. The iPhone 17 Pro will reportedly be compatible with some of iOS 27's AI tools, providing access to advanced Siri AI features.

According to Mashable Tech, this offer represents a significant late-cycle push by T-Mobile for the current-generation handset.
