A U.S. Navy P-8 aircraft reportedly played a crucial role in the rescue of 14 mariners. The aircraft was the first to arrive at the scene, deploying a search and rescue kit. This kit included a life raft, which the mariners then boarded.
The United States has indicated its involvement in the rescue of an Indian Motorized Sailing Vessel (MSV) crew.
According to reports, a U.S. Navy P-8 aircraft was the initial response unit at the scene of the incident. Upon arrival, the P-8 aircraft deployed a specialized search and rescue (SAR) kit. This kit contained essential survival equipment, including a life raft.
All 14 mariners from the distressed vessel were able to board the provided life raft, according to The Hindu International.
