Foreign Minister Penny Wong met with four participants of the flotilla in Canberra. Senior AFP officers were also present at the meeting to listen to the activists' claims.
The allegations, which include claims of rape and abuse, were made against Israel. The meeting served as a forum for the flotilla participants to detail their experiences and formalize their complaints.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the AFP has now taken steps to investigate these claims.
