Alpha Trailer Unveils Origin Story of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, Confirms Hrithik Roshan Cameo

The much-anticipated trailer for 'Alpha,' the first female-led theatrical film in the YRF Spy Universe, has been officially unveiled. The movie, which stars Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in lead roles, also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal capacities. 'Alpha' is slated to hit cinemas on July 3, 2026.

The trailer opens with an infant inside a glass enclosure, where Bobby Deol's character is seen naming the child Sita, hinting at a narrative focused on destiny and identity. Alia Bhatt's voiceover then narrates the story of a princess, depicting her journey from childhood to adulthood marked by intense training and discipline.

The footage is replete with large-scale action sequences, including chase scenes, gun battles, and hand-to-hand combat. A confrontation between Alia Bhatt and Sharvari is briefly shown, although Sharvari's character details have been kept under wraps. Bobby Deol's character appears to turn against India while operating a program known as Alpha, while Anil Kapoor is seen mentoring Alia's character.

The background score features Global Top DJ HUGEL's track 'Jamaican Bam Bam,' contributing to the trailer's energetic tone. The trailer focuses on establishing the film's scale, emotional stakes, and character arcs rather than revealing key plot details.

A significant reveal in the trailer's closing moments is the confirmation of Hrithik Roshan's special appearance as Kabir from 'War.' This cameo further integrates 'Alpha' into the interconnected YRF Spy Universe.

Described as the "origin story of two deadly girls," 'Alpha' is directed by Shiv Rawail and produced by Aditya Chopra, with Akshaye Widhani serving as co-producer. The screenplay was written by Soumil Shukla and Shridhar Raghavan.
