ANBERNIC has announced the V1.28 system update for its RG557 gaming handheld, introducing a redesigned software experience. This update aims to streamline the user interface, previously a common challenge for Android-based handhelds. Key features include the unified RG Home launcher and a quick-access RG Control Center overlay, enhancing usability. The firmware is now rolling out globally via over-the-air (OTA) updates and manual installation options.
