Arte's Franco-Iranian web series, 'Happiness,' has been awarded the Seriencamp Audience Award. The Cologne-based festival reported record attendance for its latest edition. The series, which previously garnered recognition as a Deadline Global Breakout, focuses on an Iranian student's experiences after moving to Paris and received a five-minute standing ovation.

'Happiness' centers on the story of an Iranian student who relocates to Paris. The series previously featured as a Deadline Global Breakout earlier this month and is set to launch its second season within the next two weeks. During its screening, the series received a five-minute standing ovation from the audience.
According to Deadline Hollywood, 'Happiness' secured the top audience honor at Seriencamp.
