Biden's Iran Envoy Robert Malley Praises Trump-Era Deal as 'Preferable'
Robert Malley, who served as the U.S. envoy for Iran under former President Biden, stated on Wednesday that a deal between the Trump administration and Tehran is "far preferable to any of the alternatives." Malley, a negotiator for the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), shared his perspective on social platform X. He also indicated that he does not "see much value" in the available alternatives.
