The fight, held on Saturday in Las Vegas, lasted only 69 seconds before finishing in the first round. McGregor confirmed that he sustained a leg injury during the event and indicated that it will require surgery.
On Monday, McGregor took to Instagram to share his future plans. He wrote, “Surgery. Prehab. Return to martial arts practice. Go again.” He also added that this upcoming bout would mark the “Final fight of the contract.”
