Speaking on “Obsessed: The Podcast,” Ferguson admitted he was unsure how he would have handled the political landscape during that period. He expressed gratitude for not having to navigate that specific era of late-night television.

Craig Ferguson, who previously hosted CBS’s “The Late Late Show,” stated during an appearance on “Obsessed: The Podcast” that he was pleased his tenure in late-night television concluded before Donald Trump became president.
Ferguson openly admitted his uncertainty regarding how he would have approached his show under a Trump presidency. “I don’t know how I would have handled it. I’m glad I didn’t have to, to be honest,” Ferguson remarked.
According to Variety, Ferguson hosted "The Late Late Show" from 2005 to 2014.
