The complete bundle features two microphones, a receiver unit designed to connect to smartphones or cameras, a charging case, essential power and audio cables, and four windscreens to mitigate external noise during outdoor recordings.
Improvements in the DJI Mic 3 over prior generations include increased receiver storage, now 32GB up from 8GB, and support for both 24-bit and 32-bit floating point audio. The receiver also incorporates a built-in screen for monitoring battery levels and connection status.
Additional features include magnetic clips for easily attaching transmitters to clothing and hats. The microphones offer two levels of noise reduction and active gain control to manage unexpected loud sounds. Each microphone provides approximately eight hours of battery life on a single charge, with the receiver lasting slightly longer at ten hours. The accompanying charging case is capable of providing at least two full recharges for the set.
