FIFA Proposes Symbolic Israel-Palestine Match for New U15 Tournament
FIFA is reportedly planning a symbolic football match between Israel and Palestine to serve as the opening game for a new under-15s tournament. Scheduled to take place in the United States this September, the competition is open to all 211 FIFA member associations, including Russia, despite its senior-level ban. FIFA President Gianni Infantino reportedly aims to leverage football to promote peace through this initiative.
