First Official K-Pop Demon Hunters Lego Set to Launch August 1
Lego has announced the upcoming release of its first official K-Pop Demon Hunters set, titled "Derpy Tiger and Sussie Bird." This 825-piece building set will be available starting August 1 for $70 and is currently open for preorders through the Lego Store. The set features posable figures of Derpy the tiger and his magpie companion Sussie, inspired by the Netflix series. Wes Talbott, Senior Design Master at the LEGO Group, designed the set, with Lego hinting at future K-Pop Demon Hunters releases.

The main component of the set is a posable Derpy Tiger figure, allowing adjustments to its head, legs, and paws. Its expression can be customized with an included removable tongue piece. The Sussie figure features a rotating neck and movable feet. Additional accessories include Sussie's flowerpot and Juni's "Hello, Friend" and "Save the Date" notes. When Sussie is placed on Derpy's head, the assembled kit measures 8.5 inches high, 6 inches long, and 6 inches wide.
Wes Talbott, a Senior Design Master at the LEGO Group, was responsible for designing the Derpy figure. Talbott expressed enthusiasm for the project, citing his familiarity with the original K-Pop Demon Hunters series which debuted on Netflix approximately a year ago.
Lego has indicated that this release is "just the beginning," suggesting that more K-Pop Demon Hunters Lego sets may be announced in the future. In addition to the new Lego set, various other K-Pop Demon Hunters merchandise is available, including official American Girl figures, Squishmallow plushies, and Funko Pop! figures. Fans can also preorder the K-Pop Demon Hunters Criterion Collection 4K Blu-ray for $40, scheduled for release on December 31.
According to GameSpot, the K-Pop Demon Hunters series has garnered attention for its music, visuals, and characters like Jinu and Rumi.
