FTC and State AGs Sue Transgender Health Group WPATH Over Care Standards
The Federal Trade Commission (FTC), in collaboration with four state attorneys general, has filed a lawsuit against the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). The complaint, lodged in a federal court in Texas on Wednesday, alleges that WPATH made false claims concerning the sale of medical services to children. This legal action is reportedly aligned with a broader effort by the Trump administration to halt gender-affirming care for minors.
