More than 8,556 incidents were recorded in 2024 and 2025, affecting at least 10,600 individuals who were killed, injured, abducted, or arrested. These incidents were reported across 83 countries, with specific nations experiencing the highest number of attacks.

The study indicated that these attacks took place in 83 countries. The nations with the highest reported incidences include Colombia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Haiti, Palestine, and Ukraine.
