GTA Online to Launch 'The Kortz Center Heist' Update in July
GTA Online is preparing for its next major update, 'The Kortz Center Heist,' scheduled to arrive in July. This new content will introduce a significant mission set within Los Santos' prestigious art gallery, The Kortz Center, a location previously inaccessible to players. The update requires players to own specific in-game assets, with Rockstar Games offering various ways to earn necessary in-game currency.
GTA Online is set to receive a substantial update, titled 'The Kortz Center Heist,' in July. This new content will allow players to conduct a heist at The Kortz Center, Los Santos' prominent art gallery. Although the building has been a part of GTA 5 since its launch, its interior has largely been inaccessible and unused for significant content, aside from a story mode standoff involving law enforcement.
To participate in 'The Kortz Center Heist,' players will need to own one of the mansions introduced in a previous major GTA Online update. The art studio within the mansion will be renovated to serve as a heist planning room. For players who do not yet own a mansion or lack sufficient funds, Rockstar Games plans to offer opportunities to earn bonus GTA$ in the coming weeks. Additionally, GTA+ members will soon receive a $2 million discount on mansions.
While specific details beyond the heist remain limited, the update is expected to include new vehicles, weapons, clothing, and potentially new gameplay mechanics. Previous heists in GTA Online have offered high replayability through diverse approaches. Furthermore, players currently using Xbox One or PS4 versions of GTA Online will be eligible for a free upgrade to the current-generation versions of the game.
According to IGN, anticipation is building for the release of GTA 6, expected in November.
