Jacob Cheung Tat-keung, Avseco's executive director, stated on Friday that Terminal 2's operations have proceeded smoothly since its relaunch. This comes as passenger volumes have risen, following the relocation of 15 airlines to the terminal over the past few weeks.
Cheung added that the specific deployment of the canine units would be adjusted based on the prevailing traffic levels at the terminal.
According to the South China Morning Post, the initiative aims to enhance security coverage for the expanded facility.
