IGN Live 2026 Showcases Best Buy's Latest Home Technology and Gaming Products
IGN Live 2026, a fan event held in Los Angeles, featured a range of home technology and gaming products from Best Buy. The event included entertainment, gaming activations, and panels, with Best Buy co-hosting a "Name That Price" game for tech giveaways. Attendees could view and purchase various devices, including gaming laptops, desktops, handhelds, and peripherals, some offered with discounts. Best Buy also highlighted numerous video games available for multiple platforms.
IGN Live 2026, a fan event, recently took place in Los Angeles, offering attendees a variety of entertainment, gaming, and technology activations. The event featured panels, interviews, and exclusive trailer drops across multiple stages, alongside giveaways of thousands of prizes.
Best Buy participated by co-hosting a "Name That Price" game, which allowed contestants to win various tech products on-site. The retailer also showcased numerous home technology and gaming items, many of which are available for online purchase, some with discounts.
Featured products included the Samsung 65” Class QN80F Series Neo television. In the gaming laptop category, the Lenovo Legion 7i 16" 2.5K OLED Gaming Laptop was displayed. This laptop features a full aluminum construction, weighs 4.5 pounds, and boasts a 16-inch OLED display with 2.5K 189ppi resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is configured with an RTX 5060 (mobile) GPU, which reportedly offers 15-20% more power than the RTX 4060 and approaches RTX 4070 performance, supporting DLSS 4 technology with multi-frame generation.
Other notable gaming hardware included the ASUS ROG GM700 Gaming Desktop, the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K Optical Gaming Mouse, the Razer Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed Wireless Over-the-Ear Gaming Headset, and the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro Keyboard. The Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse was noted for being nearly identical to its V3 Pro (non-35K) counterpart.
The event also highlighted gaming handhelds, such as the Legion Go S 8" 120Hz Gaming Handheld and the ROG Xbox Ally X 7" FHD 120Hz Gaming Handheld. The Asus ROG Xbox Ally X is described as a powerful handheld gaming PC and is the first device to support the new Xbox Full Screen Experience, allowing it to boot directly into the Xbox App within Windows, bypassing non-gaming background tasks.
Best Buy further presented a selection of trending video games with discounts for Switch 2, PS5, and Xbox. Titles mentioned include Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, Tanuki: Pon's Summer, Son of Thanjai, Don't Fret, Screenbound, Mexican Ninja, American Truck Sim, American Truck Sim Desktop Explorer, Hi-Fi Rush, Astro Burn, Darwin's Paradox, Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, Street Fighter 6, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Hades 2, and Super.
