Lenovo Launches Tab Plus Gen 2 Entertainment Tablet Featuring JBL Audio System
Lenovo has announced the Tab Plus Gen 2, an Android tablet specifically designed for entertainment. This new device integrates a JBL nine-unit speaker system with Dolby Atmos support and includes a built-in Bluetooth speaker mode. It also features a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with Dolby Vision and a rotating kickstand for flexible viewing, aiming to provide an immersive media experience.

Lenovo has unveiled the Tab Plus Gen 2, an Android tablet positioned as an entertainment-focused device. The tablet distinguishes itself by prioritizing audio and visual features for media consumption, differing from many contemporary tablets that lean towards productivity functionalities.
The Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with a JBL nine-unit speaker system that supports Dolby Atmos, offering what Lenovo describes as an immersive audio experience for movies, streaming video, and music. A notable feature is its built-in Bluetooth speaker mode, allowing the tablet to function as a standalone speaker.
Visuals are handled by a 12.1-inch 2.5K display, complemented by Dolby Vision support for enhanced picture quality. The design incorporates a rotating kickstand, facilitating various viewing angles. Powering the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, and it is fitted with a 10,200mAh battery.
The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 will be available soon in select global markets, with a starting price of $399.99.
