Media Professional Advises China on Adapting to Algorithms for Tibet Narrative
An American media professional with the state-run China International Communications Group (CICG) has suggested that China should adapt to Western algorithms to manage the global narrative surrounding Tibet. Zachary Lundquist, also known by his Chinese name Huang Hao, made this assessment on Tuesday in Lhasa, the capital of China's Tibetan autonomous region. He emphasized that Beijing must cease its opposition to Western algorithms and instead begin to integrate them into its strategy for shaping international discourse.

Zachary Lundquist, an American media professional affiliated with the state-run China International Communications Group (CICG), stated on Tuesday in Lhasa, the capital of China’s Tibetan autonomous region, that Beijing needs to adapt to Western algorithms.
Lundquist, also known as Huang Hao, delivered this assessment in the context of China's efforts to influence the global discourse on Tibet, an autonomous region in western China that frequently garners international attention.
According to Lundquist, China's strategy to "win the global war of words" over Tibet necessitates a shift from directly combating Western algorithms to actively adopting and utilizing them. This approach, he argued, is crucial for effectively managing the international narrative.
