Mistfall Hunter, described as a souls-like extraction experience, will launch on July 29 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game integrates the challenging combat mechanics of Elden Ring with the tense resource management and risk elements found in Arc Raiders. It offers players a choice of six unique classes, each designed to cater to different playstyles.
A tier list has been compiled to assess these classes, ranking them on their performance in both PvE and PvP engagements. This evaluation aims to guide players in understanding which classes excel in combined scenarios.
**S-Tier:** The Sorcerer class is identified as highly effective in both PvE and PvP due to its strong crowd control abilities and high damage output. Utilizing both single-target and area-of-effect elemental attacks, the Sorcerer can influence battles in solo or team play, despite having a smaller health pool. A fast blink dodge helps compensate for this vulnerability by allowing distance from attackers.
**A-Tier:** The Shadowstrix, akin to a rogue or assassin, specializes in burst damage from stealth. This class thrives on adept use of stealth and positioning, making it particularly potent in PvP encounters where it can disorient opponents and quickly deplete health bars.
**B-Tier:** This tier includes the Withered Knight, Mercenary, and Blackarrow. The Withered Knight wields a greatsword, delivering close-range sweeping attacks and employing debuffs, though it requires strategic positioning to maintain offensive pressure. The Mercenary is noted as a versatile beginner-friendly class, offering both defensive (sword and shield) and offensive (large hammer) options, though it lacks the specialized strengths of higher-tier classes. The Blackarrow is a bow-wielding archer that maintains distance and uses status effects, requiring precise aiming and nimble dodging due to a low health pool.
**C-Tier:** The Seer is categorized as the primary support class, offering healing and protection spells for teammates. While valuable in cooperative settings, the Seer struggles with offensive capabilities, especially in solo play, making it less recommended for most independent outings.
