Perrie Edwards Marries Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in Lavish Portugal Ceremony

Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards and soccer star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain exchanged vows in the Algarve region of Portugal on Saturday, June 13. The couple, both 32, were married at the Igreja Matriz de Estoi church in the village of Estoi in Faro, in a ceremony attended by close friends and family.

The celebrations reportedly spanned a "long weekend" and included 140 guests. Among those present were Edwards' former Little Mix bandmates, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, as well as Oxlade-Chamberlain's football colleagues Mason Mount, Danny Welbeck, and Kieran Gibbs. The newlyweds hosted a champagne and ice cream toast accompanied by a traditional Portuguese guitarist in the courtyard after the ceremony.

Edwards wore a long, flowing white corseted wedding dress with long sleeves and lace detailing for the ceremony, carrying a bouquet of white calla lilies. Oxlade-Chamberlain, who plays for Scottish Premiership club Celtic, wore a classic black tuxedo with a white calla lily boutonniere. For the reception, Edwards changed into a crystal-embellished floor-length dress by Galia Lahav for the first dance, and later a custom minidress from Annie's Ibiza for further dancing.

The couple got engaged in 2022 and are parents to four-year-old son Axel and daughter Alanis, who was born in January. The wedding reception featured a sextet at the church and a 16-piece band with a full brass section, which performed Little Mix's British No. 1 hit "Wings" and a version of "Don't Let Go."

According to Billboard, the event was also featured in British Vogue, showcasing pictures from the wedding on Tuesday, June 16.
