Ranbir Kapoor Acquires 25.7 Acres Near Pune for ₹16.42 Crores
Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has expanded his real estate portfolio by purchasing approximately 25.7 acres of land in Pune's Mulshi taluka for a reported ₹16.42 crores. The transaction, involving four adjoining land parcels in Pimpri village, was officially registered on April 30, 2026. This acquisition follows an earlier investment in May 2026, where Kapoor secured a land parcel in Ayodhya's 'The Sarayu' project for about ₹3.31 crores, indicating a broader trend among celebrities to diversify their real estate holdings beyond Mumbai.
Ranbir Kapoor has significantly increased his real estate assets with the acquisition of approximately 25.7 acres of land in Mulshi taluka, near Pune. The total value of the transaction is reported at ₹16.42 crores.
Property registration documents, accessed by CRE Matrix, indicate that the purchase involves four adjoining land parcels located in Pimpri village. The sale agreement for these parcels was officially registered on April 30, 2026. The combined area of these plots measures approximately 1,04,000 square metres.
The acquisition details include individual parcel values: the first, measuring 21,400 square metres, was bought for ₹3.31 crores; the second, spanning 29,900 square metres, for ₹4.62 crores; the largest third parcel, at 43,800 square metres, for ₹7.07 crores; and the fourth, covering 8,900 square metres, for ₹1.39 crores. The total stamp duty for this deal amounted to ₹82.13 lakh.
This Pune investment is not Kapoor's only recent real estate venture. In May 2026, The House of Abhinandan Lodha announced that the actor had purchased a 2,134-square-foot plot worth approximately ₹3.31 crores within its 'The Sarayu' project in Ayodhya. This project is a 75-acre luxury plotted development situated along the Sarayu River, planned to feature a clubhouse, over 35 lifestyle amenities, and a five-acre fully vegetarian luxury hotel to be operated by The Leela.
Kapoor's latest investments reflect a growing trend among Bollywood celebrities to expand their real estate portfolios beyond Mumbai. Many public figures are increasingly investing in various property types, including agricultural and non-agricultural land, holiday homes, and premium residential properties in locations such as Pune, Alibaug, Lonavala, and Goa. Other personalities noted to have made significant land investments include Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Virat Kohli, and Anushka Sharma.
