Tai Po Estate Management Misses Deadline for Post-Fire Owner Meeting
Hop On Management Company, the administrator for Hong Kong's Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, has missed a court-imposed deadline to meet with flat owners following a deadly fire last November. The Lands Tribunal had set the deadline last week in line with the Building Management Ordinance. Hop On Management issued a notice to residents on Saturday, the day the meeting was due, promising to resolve various challenges and arrange new dates soon.

Hop On Management Company, the administrator of Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po, Hong Kong, has failed to meet the court-mandated deadline to hold a meeting with the estate's flat owners.
The deadline was imposed by the Lands Tribunal last week, in accordance with the Building Management Ordinance. This meeting was highly anticipated by residents after a deadly fire devastated the estate in November of last year.
On Saturday, the scheduled day for the meeting, Hop On Management Company issued a notice to Wang Fuk Court residents, informing them of the delay. The company stated its intention to resolve various challenges and to make new arrangements for the meeting in due course.
