The Adventures of Elliot: Guide to Destroying Rocks and Boulders
Players of The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales can destroy in-game rocks and boulders by acquiring Bombs. This essential tool is obtained by progressing to the Age of Reconstruction, the second era of the campaign. Within this period, a specific side quest in Littlehope village, titled "Blow Your Troubles Away," leads to the permanent unlocking of Bombs and offers the Lotus Chain accessory as a reward.

In "The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales," an adventure RPG by Square Enix, certain areas are initially inaccessible due to rock and boulder obstructions. To clear these paths, players must acquire Bombs.
Bombs become available during the game's second era, known as the Age of Reconstruction. To obtain them, players need to travel to the village of Littlehope and engage with the townsfolk. Following this, an exit to the north and then a westward path leads to an NPC called the Shrewd Adventurer, who stands near a large boulder.
The Shrewd Adventurer offers a side quest titled "Blow Your Troubles Away," which tasks the player with removing this obstacle. Returning to Littlehope and visiting the item shop will provide the necessary Bombs. Equipping and placing a Bomb next to a rockslide will clear it, rewarding the player with the Lotus Chain accessory. This item prevents the bonus time of a drop bonus combo chain from ending upon taking the first instance of damage, with the effect refreshing as the drop bonus level increases. Completing this quest permanently unlocks Bombs for use.
Beyond clearing obstacles, Bombs have multiple applications. They can be used to damage enemies, and a charged attack allows players to pick up and throw the explosives. Players can also seek out side quests that reward Bomb Pouches, each increasing the maximum Bomb carrying capacity by ten. Re-exploring areas from the Age of Safekeeping after acquiring Bombs may reveal new shortcuts, upgrades, and chests.
