Tucker Wetmore Signs Management Deal with Sandbox Entertainment
Country music artist Tucker Wetmore has joined Sandbox Entertainment for management, with founder/CEO Jason Owen taking on the role. This move follows a period of significant success for Wetmore, including his first No. 1 hit on Billboard's Country Airplay chart with "Brunette" and recognition as the Academy of Country Music Awards’ reigning new male artist of the year. He has emerged as a breakout success in country music, known for his chart-topping singles and charismatic live performances.
Tucker Wetmore, a rising star in country music, has officially signed with Sandbox Entertainment for management. Jason Owen, the founder and CEO of Sandbox Entertainment, will serve as Wetmore's new manager. This partnership marks a new phase for Wetmore, who has seen considerable success in recent years.
Wetmore was named the Academy of Country Music Awards’ reigning new male artist of the year. His career gained significant traction in 2024 with his breakthrough hit “Wine Into Whiskey,” which reached No. 16 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. This was followed by terrestrial country radio success with a trio of hits.
His songs “Wind Up Missin’ You” and “3,2,1” both peaked at No. 23 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. Most recently, “Brunette” became his first No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart in May. All four songs are featured on his debut full-length album, "What Not To" (Back Blocks/MCA/Mercury), released in 2025, which reached No. 4 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200.
Beyond his recorded music, Wetmore is recognized for his live performances, quickly developing into an amphitheater headliner. After touring with HARDY earlier this spring, he is set to begin the second leg of his Brunette World Tour on June 21 in Uncasville, Conn., with support from Maddox Batson, Braxton Keith, William Beckmann, and George Birge. He previously toured the United Kingdom and continental Europe, including three sold-out nights in London.
Wetmore, who was designated Billboard’s Rising Star in the June 4 Country Power Players issue, has emphasized global expansion as a priority for his career. Sandbox Entertainment, which maintains offices in Nashville, Los Angeles, and Charleston, S.C., also manages artists such as Billie Eilish, Finneas, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves, Kate Hudson, and Kelsea Ballerini. Representatives for both Sandbox and Wetmore confirmed the management agreement.
