Xreal and Google's collaborative XR glasses, now officially named Xreal Aura, are available for preorder starting today. Prospective buyers can reserve the device with a $99 deposit.
The Xreal Aura is expected to see its full launch in several key markets this Fall. These regions include the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Canada, and South Korea.
While reservations are open, the final launch price for the Xreal Aura has not yet been disclosed. Google has previously characterized the device as "a headset masquerading as glasses."
The Xreal Aura is positioned as Google's second Android XR device. Its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy XR headset, launched at $1,799 in October 2025. Best Buy is slated to be the initial in-store retail partner for the Xreal Aura.
According to The Verge, the collaboration between Xreal and Google on these glasses brings the Project Aura initiative closer to consumer availability.
