Amazon previously offered a promotional discount on Apple TV+ ahead of a past Prime Day shopping event. The deal allowed subscribers to access Apple TV+ as an add-on channel for Prime Video at a reduced rate of $5.99 per month for two months. This represented a 54% saving compared to the regular monthly price of $12.99.
The offer was made available prior to Prime Day, which commenced on Tuesday, June 23, and concluded on Friday, June 26. To qualify for the discounted rate, users needed an existing subscription to either Amazon Prime or Prime Video. Amazon Prime subscriptions offer benefits such as access to Prime Video, Prime Gaming, Amazon Photos, fast shipping, and in-store discounts at Whole Foods Market.
Apple TV+ features a variety of original content, including series such as "Widow's Bay," "Severance," and "Ted Lasso." Its library also includes films like "Killers of the Flower Moon" and "CODA." Beyond movies and TV shows, the streaming service provides original music programming, concert series, and live sports coverage, including F1 Grand Prix races, MLS matches, and MLB Friday Night Baseball.
