Other prominent artists like J Balvin, Guaynaa, and Mike Bahía are also highlighted for embracing their roles as fathers.
Billboard has curated a poll for its readers to select their favorite dad in the Latin music realm, in celebration of Father's Day. The poll includes 13 celebrity fathers from the industry.
Among the featured artists is Maluma, who recently revealed in an exclusive interview with Billboard that he and his girlfriend, Susana Gómez, are expecting their second child, a boy. Maluma became a first-time father in 2024 with the birth of his daughter, Paris.
Jay Wheeler is another artist included in the poll, recognized for publicly sharing his experiences as a first-time dad on social media. He has a daughter named Aiunii with Venezuelan singer-songwriter Zhamira. Wheeler has incorporated his family life into his music and frequently showcases his daily adventures with his daughter to his fans.
