Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 & 2 Confirmed for PlayStation 4 and 5 Release
The original Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 are set to launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this summer. Developer Treyarch confirmed a July release via social media, with the ports handled by Iron Galaxy. These releases are not remasters, meaning players should not expect significant visual enhancements.

Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 are officially making their debut on modern PlayStation consoles. The classic titles, originally released in 2010 and 2012 respectively, will become available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in July.
Developer Treyarch confirmed the upcoming release through social media, following earlier rumors this month. The porting process for both games was managed by Iron Galaxy. It has been clarified that these are direct ports and not remasters, indicating that dramatic visual upgrades are not part of the release.
These titles have not been available on PlayStation hardware since the PlayStation 3 era, though older Call of Duty games have remained accessible on Xbox platforms across console generations.
