Chinese Woman Diagnosed with Pancreatitis After Extreme Diet Regimen
A 25-year-old woman in Hangzhou, China, has been diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. The diagnosis follows her adherence to an extreme weight-loss regimen that involved eating only once a week and consuming minimal food for the remaining six days. The woman, identified by the alias Qingqing, is 1.55m tall and previously weighed 55kg before embarking on her rigorous plan to lose weight.

The woman, who uses the alias Qingqing, adopted a strict diet plan that entailed eating only once a week. For the other six days, her food intake was severely restricted, consisting of very little consumption.
Qingqing is reported to be 1.55m tall and previously weighed 55kg. Her decision to undertake such a rigorous plan was driven by a desire to become slimmer.
According to the Xinmin Evening News, which reported on the woman's prior weight, this extreme dietary approach ultimately led to her diagnosis.
