Crunchyroll to Launch Streaming Service in Taiwan and South Korea
Crunchyroll, the specialty streaming service under Sony Group, has announced its upcoming expansion into Taiwan and South Korea. Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll, unveiled the plans during the APOS conference held in Bali. The service is scheduled to become available in Taiwan this summer, with its launch in South Korea anticipated later in 2026. This strategic move aims to cater to markets that are experiencing a surge in interest for anime content.
