Danny Röhl Departs Rangers for RB Salzburg; Derek McInnes Linked as Replacement
Danny Röhl has left Rangers by mutual consent and is set to take charge of RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga. His departure follows the agreement of a seven-figure compensation package between the clubs. Röhl, who assumed the head coach position last October, will be joined by performance manager Sascha Lense and first-team analyst Tristan Steiner in their departure from Ibrox. Meanwhile, Derek McInnes of Hearts is reportedly a strong candidate to succeed Röhl at Rangers.

Rangers have confirmed the departure of head coach Danny Röhl to RB Salzburg by mutual agreement. The move sees Röhl heading to the Austrian Bundesliga outfit following the successful negotiation of a seven-figure compensation package between the two clubs.
Röhl initially joined Rangers last October, taking over from Russell Martin. Accompanying his departure from Ibrox are performance manager Sascha Lense and first-team analyst Tristan Steiner, who will also leave their roles.
Attention now turns to Röhl's potential successor, with Derek McInnes, currently managing Hearts, being heavily linked with a move to Ibrox.
According to Guardian Football, McInnes is reportedly a leading candidate for the vacant managerial position at Rangers.
