Fan Bids $3,500 to Watch 'Summer House' Reunion at Show's Hamptons Home
Kerry Feeney and her friends paid $3,500 to watch the "Summer House" reunion from the Hamptons house where the reality show is filmed. Feeney, a 44-year-old director of hospital administration, won one of three nights auctioned by StayMarquis. She split the cost with her longtime friends, who are also fans of the Bravo series, and spent the evening reminiscing and celebrating their shared fandom within the iconic setting.
Kerry Feeney, a 44-year-old director of hospital administration from Rockaway, New York, successfully bid $3,500 to spend a night at the "Summer House" Hamptons residence. The opportunity allowed Feeney and her friends to watch the show's reunion episode from the actual filming location.
Feeney, a self-described longtime viewer of Bravo shows including "Summer House" since its inception, shared the cost of the winning bid with her friends. She noted that the experience brought back memories of her own time living in the Hamptons during her twenties.
Upon arrival, Feeney's group of 16 friends explored the house, which included examining details like the size of Kyle and Amanda's bedroom and the heated toilet seat in the bathroom. Feeney chose Kyle and Amanda's room for herself, citing its large bed and direct access to the backyard.
The group brought snacks, drinks, and a homemade baked ziti. The house was also stocked with Loverboy, a beverage featured on the show. Despite the house having a movie theater room, the group decided to watch the reunion broadcast in the living room. A rule was set that no one was permitted to talk until commercial breaks during the episode.
According to Business Insider, Feeney stated that the best part of the experience was sharing it with her friends, emphasizing the opportunity to relive their youth.
