Jackery Introduces FridgeGuard Portable Power Station for Refrigerators
Jackery has launched the FridgeGuard, a new portable power station designed to provide backup power for refrigerators during outages. This ultra-slim device can keep a fridge cooling for up to 15 hours, utilizing a 1,024Wh battery capacity. It is currently available exclusively at Costco, priced at $559.99 after an introductory discount.

The Jackery FridgeGuard features an ultra-slim design, measuring approximately 2.6 inches thin, allowing it to be placed on top of or beside a refrigerator. Weighing 23 pounds, it is described as lightweight. Installation involves plugging the FridgeGuard into a wall outlet and then plugging the refrigerator into the power station. When a power outage occurs, the FridgeGuard automatically activates within 10 milliseconds to power the appliance.
The power station is equipped with a 1,024Wh battery capacity, capable of keeping a refrigerator operational for up to 15 hours. The system is expandable; connecting two Jackery FridgeGuards together provides a total capacity of 2,048Wh, extending backup power for approximately 30 hours. Users can monitor the device's charge, remaining power, output, and operating temperature via the Jackery app.
Key specifications include an output of 800W (with a peak of 1600W), a UPS activation time of 10 milliseconds, and dimensions of 23.6 inches x 12.8 inches x 2.63 inches. It features a LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery type and comes with a 5-year warranty.
The Jackery FridgeGuard is exclusively sold at costco.com and in select Costco warehouses. It is priced at $559.99, which reflects an introductory 20% discount. A Costco membership is required for purchase, and online orders through Costco include free shipping and handling.
