Luigi Mangione, the man accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, plans to utilize a psychiatric defense in his state murder trial. New York Judge Gregory Carro revealed on Wednesday that Mangione's lawyers have notified the court of their intent.
