Pixar's 'Ratatouille' Lacks Sequel, Voice Actor Patton Oswalt Discusses Potential Follow-Up

Despite this focus on franchises, the 2007 Oscar-winning film "Ratatouille," directed by Brad Bird and centered on the rat Remy, has not yet received a sequel. Patton Oswalt, the voice actor for Remy, has expressed interest in a "Ratatouille 2," but specified it should not be a "money grab" and observed that many sequels often feel "inorganic."

Patton Oswalt, who provided the voice for Remy in the initial film, has indicated his willingness to return for a potential "Ratatouille 2." Oswalt articulated a condition for such a project, stating that it should not be conceived as merely a "money grab." He further remarked that numerous sequels in the industry tend to be "inorganic."
