Spider-Man: Brand New Day Trailer Reveals Angry Hulk and New Villain
The first trailer for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has been released, showcasing a troubled Spider-Man, the emergence of an enraged Hulk, and a mysterious new threat. Tom Holland's Peter Parker grapples with new web-producing powers and the burden of his friends not remembering him. He seeks help from Bruce Banner, only for a device suppressing Banner's transformation to be destroyed, unleashing the Hulk.

A new trailer for "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" offers a first look at the Hulk and a glimpse of Sadie Sink's as-yet-unconfirmed character. The trailer opens with Tom Holland's Spider-Man expressing concern over a personal transformation he is struggling to control, leading to a loss of control during a fight with Michael Mando's Scorpion.
Peter Parker, depicted as depressed, watches social media videos of his ex-girlfriend Michelle "MJ" Jones-Watson and best friend Ned, who do not remember him following the events of "No Way Home." He discovers he is generating webs from his wrists and seeks assistance from Bruce Banner regarding mutating DNA. Banner reveals he uses a device to prevent himself from losing control as the Hulk.
The trailer introduces a mysterious villain described as "a threat we can't control, one we can't even see." A brief appearance of Sadie Sink's character, speculated by some to be Jean Grey, is featured. This villain appears to unleash a psychic blast or pulse that freezes New York citizens, a power Spider-Man is immune to and can sense, possibly due to his Spider-Sense. The antagonist demonstrates the ability to inhabit and control minds, shifting from person to person at will.
The narrative shows Peter interacting with Ned and MJ, who is in a romantic relationship with someone other than Spider-Man. The villain later threatens MJ while possessing a bystander, prompting Spider-Man's confrontation. A voice resembling Bruce Banner's is heard, followed by the destruction of Banner's control device, unleashing a seemingly angry Hulk.
Spider-Man attempts to protect MJ, asking for her trust before they swing away and seek help from The Punisher. The trailer also depicts Spider-Man, with jet black eyes, fighting The Hand in a powered-up form, and includes words of wisdom from Aunt May from beyond the grave.
The official synopsis states, "It's a Brand New Day for Peter Parker. Fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that doesn’t remember him — and the pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him — sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control. But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves — a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them." The film is scheduled to premiere on July 31, 2026. (Source: IGN)
