The game, set in 1996, puts players in the shoes of protagonist Simon Ordell. He navigates the foggy Scottish seaside town of St. Amelia, confronting strange monsters. Ordell utilizes a handheld TV to assist with stealth, where enemies appear as static blobs, helping him uncover the town's mysteries. Developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn and published by Annapurna Interactive, Silent Hill: Townfall is played from a first-person perspective, a departure from previous titles in the series.
According to GameSpot, other Silent Hill titles, including the Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill f, are also available at discounted prices.
