Silent Hill: Townfall Preorders Open with Digital Discounts

Silent Hill: Townfall is set to launch on September 24, with preorders currently accessible for various editions across PC and PlayStation 5 platforms. Both physical and digital versions of the game's Standard Edition are priced at $50.

Physical preorders for the PlayStation 5 Standard Edition are available through retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and GameStop. Digital preorders for both PC and PlayStation 5 can be placed via Fanatical, PSN, and Steam. Notably, purchasing the digital Standard Edition through Fanatical offers a 25% discount, reducing the price to $37.49.

The Deluxe Edition of Silent Hill: Townfall is a digital-only offering priced at $60. It includes 48-hour early access, allowing players to start on September 22. This edition also features an exclusive outfit for the protagonist, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack. A 25% discount is also available for the Deluxe Edition when preordered through Fanatical, bringing its price down to $45.

Preordering any edition of Silent Hill: Townfall will unlock the CRTV: Rusted and CRTV: Beach Edition bonus cosmetics. The Deluxe Edition further provides an alternate skin for the protagonist, Simon, as an exclusive preorder bonus.

The game, set in 1996, puts players in the shoes of protagonist Simon Ordell. He navigates the foggy Scottish seaside town of St. Amelia, confronting strange monsters. Ordell utilizes a handheld TV to assist with stealth, where enemies appear as static blobs, helping him uncover the town's mysteries. Developed by Scottish studio Screen Burn and published by Annapurna Interactive, Silent Hill: Townfall is played from a first-person perspective, a departure from previous titles in the series.
