This marks the first dedicated tool designed to provide visibility into Thread-based smart home networks, allowing users to diagnose various issues within their Thread setups. Thread is one of the core protocols on which the smart home standard Matter operates.
Since the introduction of Matter over Thread devices in 2023, there have been reports of problems with these smart home configurations. The new app is intended to address these troubleshooting needs.
