Vedang Raina Reflects on 'Main Vaapas Aaunga' Impact, Thanks Imtiaz Ali
Actor Vedang Raina recently shared an emotional note on social media, detailing the profound impact of his latest release, "Main Vaapas Aaunga," on his career and personal growth. He expressed gratitude towards director Imtiaz Ali for entrusting him with the role of Keenu and appreciated the opportunity to collaborate with industry artists. Raina described the film as a turning point, emphasizing its significance in his two-and-a-half-year journey in the entertainment industry.

Actor Vedang Raina has shared a heartfelt note reflecting on his journey in the film industry and the significant impact of his recent release, "Main Vaapas Aaunga." He utilized social media to convey his appreciation to director Imtiaz Ali, his co-stars, and the audience for their support since the film's release.
Alongside behind-the-scenes photographs from the set of "Main Vaapas Aaunga," Raina recounted the moment he realized his passion for acting. He stated that at 19, after an audition, he told his parents that acting made him "feel the most alive," a realization that surprised him and them. He noted that nearly two and a half years into the entertainment industry, his decision to pursue acting has proven correct.
Raina characterized "Main Vaapas Aaunga" as a pivotal moment in his career. He stated, "Maybe it’s too early to say but Main Vaapas Aaunga is a film that’s changed everything for me. What I’ve learned, how I’ve grown as an artist and more importantly as a human being is not something I can quantify with an Instagram caption."
He specifically thanked filmmaker Imtiaz Ali for believing in him for the role of Keenu and for providing the opportunity to work alongside respected artists such as Naseeruddin Shah, Diljit Dosanjh, AR Rahman, Irshad Kamil, and Sharvari. Raina praised the film as "special," "relevant," and "pure," expressing his gratitude for being part of the project and for the audience's reception. He affirmed his ongoing passion for his craft, stating, "I’m as passionate as ever and I’m driven to keep working and perfecting. I love what I do. I feel alive."
Co-star Sharvari also commented on his post, writing, "Keenu forever 🤍✨ and sooooooo proud of you!" Directed by Imtiaz Ali, "Main Vaapas Aaunga" features an ensemble cast including Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Sharvari, and Vedang Raina.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the film premiered in cinemas alongside Vikram Bhatt’s "Haunted: Echoes of the Past 3D" and Kangana Ranaut’s "Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata," also competing with the Hollywood release "Obsession."
